“Understanding the IEP: Development, Process, and Your Critically Important Role on the Team!”

For many families, the start of the new year also means that school staff will be scheduling their children’s IEP meetings in the next few months. Why not make it your new year’s resolution to inform yourself about ways in which you can be a positive, vital member of the IEP team?

FACT is pleased to offer families several free two-hour trainings in Wilsonville, Newberg, and Springfield/Lane County in February. FACT share tips and strategies that empower parents and caregivers to seek the solutions that are right for their children while staying positive throughout the process:
–Understand the IEP and how each is developed
–Learn more about your involvement in the process
–Hear tips & tools for being your child’s #1 fan and advocate
–Have the opportunity to ask questions and get answers
